This Rive Droite éditions Purienne book is curated by Anthony Vaccarello, artistic director of Saint Laurent and originator of the Saint Laurent Rive Droite project. As part of the Saint Laurent Rive Droite editions, books produced and published for Rive Droite only, Anthony Vaccarello invited Purienne to express his vision through a series of black & white images featuring models wearing Saint Laurent by Anthony Vaccarello collections.

Henrik Purienne and Anthony Vaccarello teamed up several times, especially for the “Summer Moments” campaign of Saint Laurent Rive Droite in the summer of 2020. In this exclusive book, Purienne covers all the past and present collections of the artistic director of Saint Laurent. The photos, captured in Paris, are faithful to Purienne’s erotic, playful and sensual aesthetic. The nudity and freedom of women are elevated as a manifesto, reflecting the combination of transparency and brilliance as highlighted in Anthony Vaccarello’s collections.

This is the fourth book of the Rive Droite editions, following the exclusive books on Daido Moriyama, Betty Catroux and Gray Sorrenti.
